I think they are supposed to be gold, but mine is one with the decal, not the raised letters. I would wait i guess for more responses. i hope i have helped. | ||

All of mine have silver lettering (1205, Super J, Olympia). I don't think I've ever seen one with gold. | ||

They may be gold, I may just be color blind! Or possibly, the gold lettering on mine is faded. | ||

I just dug up a spare 1205 front cover I had and I'm thinking it's gold at the moment. I'm going to get some 409 and an old tooth brush to clean it and see what I think then. | ||

Once the dirt was removed it started to look more silver. Then I asked my mother what color it is and she said gold. I really have no idea which color. Just mix a little silver with a little gold and you can have it both ways at the same time. | ||

GOLD! I sold the 1205 during my college years. The lettering was gold. | ||
