Kenmore 3.9

So my (maternal) Grandparents have a Kenmore 3.9. The hose was shot, so another VL'er and i are working on him selling me one. My grandparents thought the Vacuum Sweeper wasnt worth the cost of the hose, so they gave it to me. Im picking it up pretty soon. They have a second one of these (early 3.9, very beat up), along with a few other Kenmores. I wanted some advice for when I get this sweeper. This, along with my 2 Electrolux's will be my daily drivers. I have run this one, and its a VERY nice sweeper. I actually just put a new belt in it. Any advice or stories on these? Feel free to share.
