Since I was able to find a Universal e720 for parts, I figured I would ask about a vacuum for my upstairs that is carpeted. What would you expect to pay for a Hoover 900, 925, or Senior? I know they don't really come up for sale often.

As very rare as those models are, expect to pay sky high prices. I recently completed my 925 during the Vacuum Convention. It's the only one I've ever seen, other than the late Stan Kann's. His went to a collector in England for more than a thousand dollars. The 900 and 925 were commercial models that launched at the beginning of the Great Depression - very few were sold. The Senior is about ten years older than the 900 series, exceptionally rare. It took me over 40 years to find one for my collection that was of Museum quality.

Maybe I'll leave those to you hard core collectors. I reckon a 541, 700, 725, 750 , or even an early 800 series will have to work.
