Just came across this one today so I thought I'd share it. The only thing that has to be replaced on it is the trigger switch cover.

To my knowledge this was the first power hose Electrolux put out in Canada. Supplied as an optional part for the Z87 and Z89 it was dark green with a gold tracer and used a dark green handgrip and the original style of metal machine end (as opposed to the later power hose that came with the 87E and 89E which was green with a lime green tracer, lime green handgrip and plastic machine end)

That's great! I've never seen that one before. I like the subtle appearance of the gold tracing. Looks like the same color & pattern as used on the bronze Model G in the U.S., but on a light tan hose.

I never thought of that but it does look very much like the model G hose pattern.

I've often wondered if there was a Red and Cream version made to fit the model 86/88 machines but I have never come across one. I suspect that, if there was, it probably either wasn't sold in Western Canada or sold very few. It seems a lot of the special items never made it West of Ontario for some reason.
