Did anyone else notice the upholstery brush in the tool set? I've never seen one with a rotating joint before, in the same style as the floor brush seen on Senior tool kits. very unusual.

Whoever won the Hoover Junior didn't complete the purchase, so it was offered to the next highest bidder. I don't think the next higher bidder wanted it either because it was offered to me.

I did want it and should be getting it in a few days.

Well there's a surprise....

Well no doubt some child using their parents Ebay account.....
I will be contacting the seller and asking for their ID so they can be blocked from bidding on my auctions...
Congrats Roger on getting a fab cleaner at a reasonable price - look forward to the video. I may even do one for my 1354a !

It was £220, so much less than the original winning bidder.

Still a bit eye watering, but a relative bargain compared to what it 'went' for the first time.

Bloody children, find somethign else to do in the school holidays rather than play with grown up things ie ebay...

Yes it was expensive, but how often does an unused boxed vintage vacuum cleaner appear on Ebay.
The tool kit is a bonus too as they can fetch a fair amount on their own.

If anyone is wondering if I am going to keep it unused and mint, the answer is no. It will be unboxed and demonstrated on my Youtube channel in the same way a modern vacuum cleaner would be. It will be interesting to see how it cleans compared to cleaners of today.

Well Done on Your Purchase

Glad it went to a Hoover enthusiast and you will find it a lot better than the vacuum cleaner offerings of today as the model is based on the 1334 series which i have collected 6 of of differing styles and colours

Excellent, it will see the bag o' filth! Hope the supressor holds out on you! It will be interesting to hear a brand new one, the only juniors ive really heard have been at the end of their battered lives. I hope the bearings havent dried out
