I keep my 'good machines' in my bedroom, and my spare machines in the closet. Later today, i plan on hanging a 'hose caddy' to store all my canister hoses

I hang the hoses and store bags, belts, etc on the shelf above. The door is hiding another wall of the same shelves. The uprights are now lined up on the right side that do not show in the picture and the canisters are on the left.
My front closet has the same setup, but it is only a few feet deep and wide. I store the current upright and canister that I am using in it. I rotate the small closet every month or so as my daily drivers change. PR-21

I have 704 vacuums in the current collection, so there's no way I could store them at home. I'm lucky Tacony Corporation built the world's only Vacuum Cleaner Museum to store them all. At home, I have just a few. Maytag M500, Rainbow 75th Anniversary model, Air-Way Signature Series, and my Electrolux Ultra Captic. No more room in the closet for any other sweepers.

It's not an understatement to say the vacuum cleaners are taking over the house. There's a weird little closet in the dining room--too big for a broom closet and in the wrong place for a coat closet--that has become a storage spot for my two Kirby G6's and their tool sets, along with my Electrolux Super J and its hose, wand, and PN2.
The laundry room is home for my Electrolux 1205, my Hoover Quik Broom Supreme, both Royal 501 hand vacs and another set of Kirby tools. The shelves over the washer and dryer are loaded with the rest of my Electrolux tools, filter bags and other supplies for all my machines. The other three Electrolux hoses hang from one of the shelf brackets. My Kirby G5 lives in my bedroom and my Dayton shop vac lives in the barn in the back yard. One thing's for certain. I have no business accumulating any more vacuum cleaners. Of course, as soon as I say that, I'll find one that I simply can't pass up but that's fuel for an entirely different thread. |

Wherever I can fit them, LOL. My Kenmore Progressive and Hoover Slimline canisters are sitting out in my room, the Electrolux is behind the bedroom door and my Constellation and Eureka 1934 are in my walk in closet. The other cleaners used for house cleaning are in the kitchen pantry (we use it for mostly storage and not food but our freezer is in there too.) I also have a Dirt Devil Roomate with the handle folded down under a bed. LOL
I also have a Hoover Elite and 2 Kenmore canisters in my trunk! I haven't moved them out in months. LOL |
