I got this for £20. At first I wasn't intending to get this vacuum and heres why.

A week ago I thought I saw a Turbomaster (reason I say "I thought" is because it was only a quick glance when I was passing on the bus) and unfortunately I didn't have the time to take a proper look. Now, I wasn't expecting it to be there still but thought I might as well take a look around anyway.

As anyone would guess, it wasn't there,I just hope it went to another collector! So, instead of coming out empty handed I saw this little gem and thought I might as well pick her up. Albeit without knowing anything about this machine.

Iv'e been wanting to expand on the Turbopower 2,3's etc for a while so though "Meh,why not?" :P

Anyhoo, here she is! Befores, during and afters.

Here's a before video too -

Hope you all enjoy!

It's missing it's dusting brush and upholstery tool, I do have a spare dusting brush though. Not like it matters, reason being I don't want to risk snapping the bag door :(

Yes,I do store the dusting brush like this on purpose. Reason being is because I don't want the heat from the motor melting the bristles, thus resulting in a messy brush.

Nice job with the refurb. I believe that's a bit of a rarer model and not part of the main run. Possibly a mail order exclusive but don't quote me on that. There's a fantastic thread in the archives about the TP2/3/1000 models where you might find some more info.

Also, Sebo Felix brochure?

@Turbo500

Thank you. I'll take another, better look at that thread. Also yep it is.

I've got quite a few Sebo brochures - 2 X series, 1 Felix, the full commercial range and I *think* I've got a K series brochure too.

Very nice. This is the only Sebo brochure I have, but it's better than none!

I can take some snaps of the Sebo brochures I have, if you'd like? They're one of the few manufacturers left who still make nice hard copy brochures. And, of course, I have 2 Sebo's plus a heap of attachments.

Sure, if you don't mind. Iv'e just got mine scanned. I hope to do a thread tonight.

Also, it's nice that we're not bickering and arguing this time lol.

Still stumped!

So after digging around a bit better I can't find anything on this machine. The other U2464 threads iv'e found is the lighter grey machine with the red bumper.
(oh how I would love one!)

Now I'm starting to think this is more of a rarer machine.

^no problem, I'll scan them in when I get chance. And if I can get my blasted scanner to work this time.

You know, I'm sure this was a catalogue exclusive, but I cannot for the life of me remember who it was an exclusive to!

I owned the U2464 for a number of years. Its a good vacuum, albeit heavy in my experience. Don't worry about the motor melting brushes, it's only 800 watts on that model. Here's an old review I did of mine on Ciao UK (see link if you wish)
