Hi all,
It's been a while since I've posted and I've got lots of pictures to catch up with. I wanted to share something that I bought myself for my birthday a few weeks ago. New in the box, new old stock from about 2005 or so, a Sanitaire Blue Line S677 manufactured by The Eureka Company, Bloomington, Illinois. I'd been wanting a blue line upright to match my Mighty Mite canister and when I found a NOS real Eureka made Sanitaire, I couldn't pass it up. Needless to say, the original belt was beyond stretched. I'd love to find a few packages of the old 90s/early 2000s Eureka F&G 'Filteraire' bags that seem to be NLA. The cleaner came with one installed but I'd love to have more on hand. If not, I have plenty of regular Genuine Eureka F&G bags. (Bloomington Eureka, not Electrolux HomeCare Products 'Eureka') |

So how does the Sanitaire team compare to your Royal team, or is that too much like picking your favorite kid? Hope your birthday was great! |

Scott,
I definitely prefer the Sanitaire team to the Royal team. The Mighty Mite is so much lighter weight and easier to scoot around with than the big, cumbersome Royal Lexon. Also, the upright is considerably quieter and is easier for me to use. John, I'm glad you got the message. I am indeed doing the painting myself. I'm too OCD to let anybody else do it, lest they spill paint on the snow white carpeting and be forced to face my wrath. Eventually the upstairs hallway and hallway bathroom will be done as well. All is well. Talk to you soon. Tomorrow evening, perhaps? Let me know. Matt |
