So, yesterday I was surfing through eBay as I do, daily, then, I spotted a Turbopower 2, nothing new there, the pic was from the back so I decided to click on it to see what model it was, when I opened up the listing and saw the photo from the front, I almost fell off my chair in shock and excitement!! It was an early 1992 Turbopower 2 U2462 with the piston bag check indicator!!!

It was from Yorkshire but that was not gonna stop me! I must of clicked the buy it now button faster than the concorde flew.

The seller wouldn't post at first but after a big sob story, he agreed to "post" it, I put that in air quotes because he brought it to me personally, how nice of him! 😀

It is a bit mucky but it runs as sweet as anything and the bag door doesn't have so much as a stress mark.

Here she is anyway, find of the year!!!! 😃😃😃😲😲😲😲😀😀😀😀

Another rarity saved! Nice one Alex!
These only ran for about the first 6 months of production. I've got the grey autosence version, I'll get some snaps shortly

It does look weird without the bag light!

Oooh nice! Not even a moulding mark for the bag indicator! Looks in good condition too!

Gumtree

I noticed this yesterday on my local Gumtree, and I think that the Turbopower 2 on the second picture also has a piston bag indicator, but I'm not sure. Still a nice little lot which I have intention to purchase.

The cleaner in the 2nd photo is a Turbopower 3. See the taller hose. Also has four lamps on the panel, one of which is for the bag indicator.

It does look weird without the bag light! I am not sure really, it kind of looks more natural with the piston.

Yep, being a very early model, it was before they started the light, my one is from June 1992 :)

It is in pretty good condition, the usual scratches but not bad, it runs really well and the bag door is intact! lol.
