The Goodwills and thrift stores have really been lacking in the vacuum department lately, so I have not been frequenting them as much as I used to. I had some downtime today so I decided to make a stop at one store, and I am glad that I did!

Way in the back I found this Riccar Pizzazz hiding in the corner! I did not even bother to plug it in, I just took it right up to the counter and paid the man $20. It is in excellent condition, hardly any scuffs or scratches. It even had a new bag in it!

The only issue is that the telescopic wand is broken, a common problem with these. I taped it so it would hold in place and that will have to do until I can find a replacement wand.

I am pretty impressed with this so far though. I have used Riccar canisters in the past, but never actually cleaned with one. The suction power is amazing, especially for how small of a canister it is. The power nozzle is probably one of the best I have used, it feels like it is really getting deep down into the carpet. You don't see many power nozzle with metal bottom plates and brushrolls! I also really like the combo attachment, the bristles on the dusting side are very soft, and the upholstery bristles are very firm; and the hose is a perfect length.

This will probably be used pretty heavily in my house!

The upholstery side of the combo tool actually makes for a decent bare floor brush.

This is where the telescoping wand broke

I've always been an upright man, but recently I purchased the riccar prima from Tom gasko. It has become my daily driver. Unbelievable power, super quiet, and light. The pizzazz is a nice machine, and the price you paid, can't beat it. Enjoy.
