These are all of my Vacuum Cleaners as of June 9th, 2015. I use all of my uprights. All of my Metal Hand Vacuums are all showcase models, since each of them have an issue and can not be used for daily cleaning. My Sears Dustbuster is also a showcase model too, as it barely picks up anything and barely charges. I do use the two dirt devil hand vacuums for cleaning. The 0840 model is a lot more rare than those old red hand vacuums.

I am planning on adding a few more hand vacuums to my collection in the future, one of them being an Brand New never turned on or used Royal Prince 501. The user just took it out of the box to take pictures, but kept it as it is.

If you have any questions about my vacuums, feel free to ask.

The Grey Vacuum is a Eureka Commercial Vacuum from 1974. It sounds a little like a Sanitaire. I'm debating on if I should sell the Grey Hoover, since it has some problems. I am thinking of replacing it with a Royal Upright.

I love it!;)

If im not mistaken, it's pretty rare to find a commercial Eureka from that era, it's basically the same exact thing as a Sanitaire. I think most if not all the early ones have the grey hood. Royal uprights are pretty decent, the light blue 880 is a popular one. I had a commercial Royal all metal upright from the late '80s with an 18 inch brushroll. It was called the "Duke Series" and it had a red bag. I ended up selling it a while ago, but it was a pretty decent vacuum!

I'm also looking into selling my hand vacuums, the ones that do not work well. I am going to be getting 2 brand new Royal Metal Vacuums. One will be the 501 NOS NIB never even turned on, just taken out for pictures. Another one will be a NOS Royal 157 that may have only been turned on to make sure it works. Anyways, the problems with each of these hand vacuums:

Aldens- Brush clip is broken and the brush does not stay on at all.
Blue Wards- The bag's gasket was ripped out and the bag is not sturdy.
Pink Wards- The switch is broken and the bag has holes.

If anything, I may just keep the blue Wards and switch the Aldens bag onto that one. But I have not fully decided yet. I am running out of space in my room for these vacuums.

Those would be very nice additions to your collection! I also used to have an all metal Royal hand bag with a blue bag & trim, it was really nice. Im not sure whatever happened to that one either, it just disappeared one day lol. You idea about changing the bags out is a good one too, I've definitely taken 2 vacs that were unquestionable and made one good one. I hopefully will have a post up about one I've been working on/ finding parts for for a while.

Well, I'm not going to sell any of my hand vacuums, except the red dirt devil. The metal ones, I am keeping as museum showcase models.

That's a really good idea! Yea I have one of the red hand vacs too, I think it's older than yours tho because the hole on the front is a small circle where there hose goes in. I've lost the hose over the years though. I mainly use That to clean the cars with.

I want a black plastic dirt devil, the 500 model. However, I want to find it brand new never used.
