My mother in law needs some parts & pads for her model B19 floor polisher. I cant find a source for the white pads or the round piece that attatches to the polisher that the pads go under. I notice that there are a lot of B model polishers are all the parts interchangeable? Where can I find the parts or part numbers I need to order?

Hi,

You didn't mention the brand of your mom-in-law's floor polisher or the diameter of the brushes. A photo would also help.

The B-prefix floor polishers in the states of which I am aware were manufactured by Electrolux Corporation (now Aerus LLC)--B-7, B-8, B-9, and B-10.

The B-7s and B-8s are interchangeable--or at least the B-8 brushes will work on the B-7s; and the B-9s & B-10s are compatible with the later model 1522, 1732, 1739, S105s, and S165s.

AB Electrolux of Sweden made B-prefix floor polishers too, but I doubt they're compatible with Aerus's. The buffing pads would work, though, if they're the same diameter--approximately 5 1/2 inches.

If you notice right in the title it says ELECTROLUX B19

This is a Canadian model, it's either a B series or a 2101 series.

If you're asking about the disposable polishing pads (that are white) Part #01729, those are still available from Aerus.

The scrub brush just holds the pads in place, they don't really snap on to anything.

My bad ... didn't check the title closely enough Thanks.

But, nope, the B19 is not a Canadian product.

Hey Fred:

Just a quick correction. 1978-1982 was the B28 not 26 ;)

Thanks for the correction, Doug.

It's too bad that Electrolux collectors in other countries haven't composed lists of floor machines like you have. Would Canada's triple brush cleaners have the same parts as their overseas counterparts of the same era?

The only information I was able to locate about the Electrolux B19 are images by Gugue and a parts store that carries belts for the B9, B19, B21, B22, and B23. Other "B" prefix models listed elsewhere were: B4, BC4, B30, B37, B40, & B132. I list the other models in case parts are common. It's interesting that the B6 is not listed.

France and the UK are countries that have been associated with the polishers. In addition, Gugue dates the B19 from the '60s, and someone who has a Youtube video of the B23 gives 1982 as the production year.

Here is a link for a UK parts store that carries Electrolux polisher parts: www.espares.co.uk/browse/at1089ma...
