Hi all.

I don't post here frequently, I must get into the habit of doing so more often! Anyway, to point. Some might remember me having a DC04 De Stijl, I made the mistake and tipped it, and only the other week started deeply regretting it! Anyway, the other night I spotted a DC01 De Stijl on eBay that was litterally a stroll away from my house, so I decided to bid on it. For the vast length of the auction there were no actual pictures of it so I was reluctant to go over a fiver on it, but with in the last 2 days of the auction being live, pictures of the actual item were added, and my max budget shot up. The machine had it's origional complete red sole plate (Unbroken), wand top (Unbroken) and it had it's origional Low-Reach floor tool too, plus a box of 5 filters. Score!!

So the other night I got it home and it was a bit ''Meh'', the thing was loud, smelt when running and not that powerful, so earlier today I took it to bits, washed it up and rebuilt it all again. Belt change later, and the machine runs 40 times better than it did prior to refurbing it! I've taken a few photos of it during the refurb, but they're not on my laptop as yet, so I'll post them tomorrow, but for now is a pic with my DA001 and paperwork and bits for the DC01 and DA001. Please see below.

Also, the other night on a local Facebay group, there was an advert for refurbished Dysons, and I thought to comment asking if they had any DC01s. Sure enough they did, and so for £20 later (And trading in my DC07, but thats a pile of junk anyway), I scored lucky and have secured a DC01 in grey and blue, with all documentation too! Score again!! So I'll be picking that up in a few weeks time too, then it's just the Absoloute and Standard DC01s to find, then before I know it I'll have the lot!

Pic attached of the DC01 De Stijl, and a video if it prior to refurbing. Sorry about the large picture sizes!

Chris

Update

Hi CitroenBX

Nice line up of machines, I can't wait for a collection like that!

Hi Tayyab

Yes it is, I've FBd you about it.

SINCE posting, the machine has been stripped, washed and had a new belt fitted. Few clean up pics below! (Sorry about the poor quality)

Chris
