Hi guys thought I would share this little blast from the past with you. It's one of the early dc07 's before the non clutched went to the steel and yellow origin model. On the down side it does need a new motor but it's cleaned up really nicely. I have chopped the end of the wand off as it was really warn the tools fit on better now it's a level surface. What do you think?

Thats a great DC07 example, however the first ones from 2002 were a lighter grey, like the DC04 grey, and this is identical to one in a 2004 Catalogue I have.

I would keep the Origin, looks more modern and the only difference is the grey cyclone unit and grey end caps :) A family member has this one, they still use it

I've cleaned the origin up this afternoon parwaz and it looks alot better than the standard dc07. However I have put the cleaner head, outer motor cover and pre filter cover on the origin as the origin ones were scratched. You can't really tell the difference in colour tone it's not obvious unless you look at it for ages lol. Tell me what you think. I've took its motor out and put it in the standard dc07 so I can get it sold. Will get the origin a motor off eBay.

Hi dyson89, it was on ebay aswell as my dc01 de stijl. But I just though all the hard work into making them perfect someone would probably just batter and abuse them. Plus thus really rood person wanted them both so I took them off lol. They aren't going anywhere now lol.

Nice! How do u get the bins so clear? I want to get my Dyson bin clear and use it so I can see the dirt better. I tried WD40, even a little bit polished by hand with tissue still attracts dust
