I am clearing out my shed and I have a brand new never used Hoover Turbopower motor in a box. Has the impeller surround etc.

Anyone interested let me know just £10 plus postage. I parted with my turbo powers before I moved to this house.

Regards
Richard

There you go Emma, motor found! Keep your broken one for spares... (coil, casing, carbon holders, fan, washers screws and wiring)

Sorry for late reply. Been a busy weekend. Postage is whatever service you want me to put it on. I can get it via a courier for about £5/£6 or the post office is prob about the same as its in a box.

No price in mind for the vacuette hand held - no idea what it's worth. Postage again £5/£6 tracked via courier or post office.

Is it an old 410w - 450w? Or is it the later 600w?

Ok I've got the motor, it is a genuine Hoover motor with part number 43174-668 HD28. Just realised that the plastic is cracked on the side where the motor cooling fan is. Sure it won't affect performance.

I've no idea what the motor wattage is though. Also the vacuette handheld is the 300w model number 947299.

That's a later one - either 575w or 600w. You can tell by the white plastic fan housing. This is what made the later models uber loud as the plastic on the motor was so thin compared with the older ones.

Yeh, The later ones had the white motor casing. I once had a Turbopower Total System U2798 from 1995 that was 430-450 watts and that had a white cased motor, it wasn't loud either.

My guess is that it is a 575w motor, or, a later 450w motor as it has the headlight socket. The Later 600w models did not have headlights.

This motor was probably designed for a Turbopower Boost. or a 450w mid 90s style U2602.
