Here is an oddity.
Someone is selling an interesting filter queen on Ebay (not me).
This one has an industrial, army like case, a fiber hose that looks more like an exhaust hose than a standard model 200 hose, a three wire grounded cord and some different fittings.
I wonder what this was originally used for?
It sure is a neat piece.

That to me looks like a 1930's- 40s film case... Western electric was VERY well known for in the film industry. :)

Appears to be a Filter Queen machine for WE equipment maintenance and cleanups after installation jobs-major installations-like in large offices and other buildings. The case reminds me of a feild kit case for movie and feild audio gear. Its a nice, well used machine.Like how WE put their tag over the Healthmor-FQ tag.

Western Electric Filter Queen

Very rare vac!As above probably used for cleanup when installing/maintaining WE equipment.Could it also have been useful pulling wiring through conduit starting with vac pulling a cord with ball at end and then the cord pulling the wire?
