So a while back I arranged to meet James Sandilands and get some vacuums off him, well after waiting for him to finish them I was able to collect them last night! And they were AWESOME!

He sold me a lovely Kirby Classic III, a machine I'd been looking for for a long while! It was in beautiful condition, James really did a great job! it doesn't have an original cord, but that's okay, I believe it's from 1977? It's amazing to finally get that dream machine, all I need now is a DS80...
I also bought a Kirby late 509, imported from the USA, at first the condition wasn't great, non original cord and a replacement wheel, and very tarnished but I used a handi butler, that James gave me, to polish it up and now it looks great! For only 100 pounds, it not a bad deal at all!
I also brought Heritage 2 Legend, it's awesome, only cost 20 pounds, and it's in lovely condition!
And I was very kindly given a Hitachi Upright from the 80s, and a Kirby Heritage that needs a lot of work, I also got loads of accessories!
A great evening! James even let me see his vacuum loft and I got to test out his 240v Classic Omega!

Yeah it was! I love the classic III, I vacuumed all the stairs and upstairs in the hall, it pulled a lot of crap out of the carpet! I'll take some better photos of it tomorrow!

Glad you are happy with them.
That 509 looks great now, you've done an amazing polish job on it!
