Gee, Luke. I'd LOVE to be able to attend. I'm not sure I'll be able to get away, as there's a lot happening back here. It was great having you here in my humble home in January. Why? What looks are you hoping for?
We all had such a grand time at your house, Luke, when we were at Kirby's 100th Birthday Celebration. It would be great to see your collection again when there would be less people there. Still not sure I can get away..... the college was closed so much during the snow season, etc. But, I'm not ruling it out just yet. If not this one, another. How many are coming so far?

Well John, if you must know - Luke and Levi (as well as Luke's mom and his dad) have made the 12 hour trip to see me many times. He would be surprised (and I'm sure happy as well) to see me come to one of his mini meets. Luke is a great guy and a great friend. Plus, I'll see him in June at the Vacuum Collectors Group Convention the 2nd weekend in June here at the Vacuum Cleaner Museum.

Luke knows that I, like old cleaners, don't travel very well. The surprise would be that I was able to contain all my energy for a long 12 hour trip. I've done it before, to see former VCCC board member, Clay Floyd, in South Carolina. I just have a very hard time in the car that long. Planning on seeing my friend John Gregory at his store, in the very near future - but I'll probably fly. He and I always have so much to talk about.
