Well that's interesting that it could be done. Am happy to destroy the ruined hose to fit a plastic one and get the machine usable again, don't suppose you have any pointers on where to start so I don't loose a finger or anything do you? |

I need to boiling water the tool end of the hose to at least turn the rubber grip around as it's upside down. Sadly the hose is off and in the bin, but I can now put a plastic hose on and at least use it! |

Hi
I am having the same problem with the hose on my ZA 65, its the wrong hose and was wondering how I could remove the ends without causing damage. I know I want to replace them with the Hoover double stretch hose from the 1960s, they are strong and very flexible, unlike the platted nylon ones. I will try the boiling water and see what happens. It shows that the old blogs are still very useful. regards Loen |
