Looking at one locally, estate sale, elderly lady. Seems all there, hard case, green. Thinking for my buddy who keeps killing new ones this one might survive?

Nice shape, love the color, and I think new brushrolls are still obtainable if it's worn. Two things to note though, everything goes through the fan first, and the suction with tools is pathetic. As long as your buddy picks up the big things, and doesn't care much about the attachment use, he'll be all set for a good carpet cleaner! I believe Envirocaire makes a microfiltration bag for these too.

Valid points! Brushroll seems fine and she is rough on stuff :( Might even be her grandkids killing them

Got it, wow dirty inside! Brushroll is worn, not gone, but worn, local shop says not available?? cord a bit chewed, tools are there, motor sounds a little dry? Perhaps should have passed on this one!

Hmm, I save parts when a machine dies, I had a nice brushroll from a dead Bissell clearview? It fits! Cleans well now

This Dimension is from the Legacy series, which replaced the Concept series.

David, you're kidding, right? A Bissell Clearview brushroll in a Hoover? Wow! I would have never thought of that one! :-). Good for you saving the old Hoover that way! What was the model # of the Bissell Clearview? Just in case anybody wants to order a brushroll for that model to use in a Hoover Dimension.

It fits! Not sure, I had friends with 2 different ones, one had a bag, other bagless, both black and cheap.

Cleveland Wood Products makes a terrific replacement brush roller for those models.

You be good & behave yourself now, & get the smelling salts out before you faint. A Hoover was saved from a early death in a crusher, that's what is important right?

Ok funny story here! I went back to my local shop with the old worn brushroll, he tried to match up what he had there, new and used. Oh David I got one! Yep, same Bissell I have at home! It fooled him for a moment.
