Hello All,
I am new here.
I have a Lux-O-Matic 89 with a power head handle that needs a new switch.
Does anyone know where I might find one?
I can take some pictures and upload them to the site if anyone is interested.
Thank you.

Power head handle that needs a new switch? Are you referring to the trigger switch in the hose handle perhaps? If so, you are out of luck....that handle has been LONG out of production, since the mid-80's. Possibly the only thing you could do would be try fitting a pistol grip hose handle from a Aerus Classic on the hose....it wouldn't have a switch, but it would get your powerhead working again. However, having said all that, if this is the original cloth hose, you would be best to replace it with a new genuine Aerus AP series hose....there is no 80 series hose available. You would take the machine end & cord off your Lux 89 hose & transplant it onto the new hose....perhaps, if you are not handy, your dealer could do this for you.

Best of luck in getting your 89 back up & running....Rob

What part do you need - just the switch itself? I probably have several of them spare

Doug

PS - the Aeris handgrip wont fit a Canadian hose.
