I got lucky on ebay with this one a couple weeks ago. It must not have been used very much. It runs strong and quiet. Does anybody know much about these? I know it was built by Eureka but all the Eurekas I have seen have the hinge on the inlet end not the cord end like this. I think the inlet hinge style is more practical.

That avocado green provides a good hint as to the year of production. Eureka Williams featured Princess canisters in those colours in 1972 and 1973....if I remember correctly.

I actually remember seeing a Eureka version of this Wizard vac in a department store in NYC around that time...probably Macy's.
