Thank you but I can't find anything about Model 1048..........it isn't shown anywhere I have looked to buy parts, etc., should I ever need any. |

They made a TON of these, under many different models. I have the Anniversary Edition from 1992. It's a tank. Bags are readily available, and Kirby belts do fine. I use HEPA Hoover Y bags from envirocare in mine since it's a top fill, not the bottom fill (F & G style). With a little bit of Electric 3-n-1 motor oil (Fill it until you see the oil rising, then add a bit more after a couple of minutes if need be, the motor will last for SEVERAL more years. Royal brushrolls are still available. Good Vac sells a wooden one with white brushroll strips and it isn't that expensive. I'm sure others will chime in.
