Hi guys, I need some help from a Numatic expert/fan!

Basically, I never had a Henry before. I have tried a few a a lot of my family members have them and. I have been impressed by all of them.

Out of all Henry's I have tried, I have decided I really want a Henry or Henry xtra (don't mind which, as long as it comes with an airo brush) and with Autosave.

I want a brand new Henry with airo brush with the auto save feature (the type that had a slow start motor) or maybe even the Henry from around 2008 with two rocker switches as I wouldn't mind one of those either TBH.

On eBay, there was so many Henry's with misleading google pictures which are claimed to be the "2015" models when they have no 3D face and have the Eco flower?!

So if anybody could find me a brand new Eco Henry sealed in the box or the slightly pre 2009 version I would be very grateful :)
Thanks
Tayyab

Byw the serial numbers on machines are different, such as "HVX200-12". What does that mean? How can I tell when it was made or what kind of Henry it is?

I want the same Henry as in my profile pic, or the one before that brand new and sealed in it's original manufacturers box
Cheers

HVX200-12

That means that it is the newest type, Numatic have made a new one since the HVX200-A2 where instead of a power light where the AutoSave switch was there is a HI/LOW switch like a Henry Mirco or 2007 Henry. I have tried one of these new models and it is really good for a 580w motor, and quiet too!

Hope this helps!
Tom

Sorry!

I was wrong in my last post. The motor is 620w.

Here's a link of a new Henry Xtra

Hanks, but I would like the older Henry brand new which was the one of the first ones to feature the Eco feature 😊

Hello

If you want a new boxed version of the original eco model with the hi-lo switch perhaps try ringing round (or better still visiting) a few places like B&Q, Homebase or other electrical stores (small independents might be a good idea too). They might still have them on the shelves.
I'd do it sooner rather than later though.
Good luck
Dave

The local Home and Hardware store (an English franchise, apparently) has old stock Henry models in. You could check there or their nearest store online to you.

If you are talking about the 1200w hi/lo models then the chances of finding one brandnew in box is rather slim, they went out of production in 2008

Thanks Narayan! That has also helped a lot :)
Alex: I also like that type of Henry which got discontinued in 2008. However, I am mainly looking for the 2009-2013 model of Eco Henry because they have the most suction and noise level. I also like that because it sounds like a common Henry :) but that's just me

Kind regards
Tayyab

Henry's from 2004-2014 have a 1200 watt motor and have equal suction power and sound exactly the same, because they use the same motor. The only think that differs those models is the switch placement and the hi/lo switch or Autosave system.

I have used almost every variant of Numatic's Henry, I have owned an 85,93,95,98,99,00,01,02,03,06,08,14 and my new late 2014 580watt Henry but I have to say that the most powerful models I have used are the ones from 99-03 they have a single fan 1100watt motor and it is sort of cheap and high pitch sounding but not loud! Those motors are VERY powerful. They did use another single fan 1100w motor prior to the one I just mentioned but it looked and sounded completely different.

Since I am on the subject of motors, I thought I would list the motors Numatic used in Henry's at the various time periods, incase anyone was interested or wanted to know.

Henry's 1981-1988: Twin fan Ultra Durable 800watt motor

Henry's 1989-1995: Twin fan Turboflo 1000watt motor

Henry's 1996-1998: Single fan 1100watt motor (type 1)

Henry's 1999-2003: Single fan 1100watt motor (Type2)

Henry's 2004-2014: Twin fan Twinflo 1200watt motor

Henry's Late 2014: Twin fan Hiflo 580watt motor

Henry's 2015-Present Twin fan Hiflo 620watt motor

Sorry I got a bit carried away there!

Alex.

Sorry about my frequent silly questions, but...

Will that 1999-2003 motor fit the 2904-2013 Henry's? And would you say that the 2004-2013 Henry's are like the second most powerful Henry's around?

Yeah they would, but it would have to be the 2002/2003 type one which has the push button as the way the motor fits into the casing is the same as the new ones that has the hi/lo switch and Autosave...Of course you would have to blank off the place where the other switch would be as that type motor is singe speed only, I doubt it would work on both and really wouldn't want to try it, lol.

Aha it makes sense now :)
I do recall that when we were buying pet stuff in this shop which was half a pet shop and half a household shop, there were loads of modern Numatics in the window at the time (Autosave ones from like 2014) and all that. Then there was this MASSIVE shelf full of old vacuum bags, belts and all that. Then as. I was looking around, there it was! A brand new HiLo Henry Xtra which. I seen last year! The next time we went to get some other pet stuff, it was gone! Shame.
Thank you so much for the help though 😄👍👌
