That means that it is the newest type, Numatic have made a new one since the HVX200-A2 where instead of a power light where the AutoSave switch was there is a HI/LOW switch like a Henry Mirco or 2007 Henry. I have tried one of these new models and it is really good for a 580w motor, and quiet too!
Hope this helps! Tom |

If you are talking about the 1200w hi/lo models then the chances of finding one brandnew in box is rather slim, they went out of production in 2008

Henry's from 2004-2014 have a 1200 watt motor and have equal suction power and sound exactly the same, because they use the same motor. The only think that differs those models is the switch placement and the hi/lo switch or Autosave system.
I have used almost every variant of Numatic's Henry, I have owned an 85,93,95,98,99,00,01,02,03,06,08,14 and my new late 2014 580watt Henry but I have to say that the most powerful models I have used are the ones from 99-03 they have a single fan 1100watt motor and it is sort of cheap and high pitch sounding but not loud! Those motors are VERY powerful. They did use another single fan 1100w motor prior to the one I just mentioned but it looked and sounded completely different.
Since I am on the subject of motors, I thought I would list the motors Numatic used in Henry's at the various time periods, incase anyone was interested or wanted to know.
Henry's 1981-1988: Twin fan Ultra Durable 800watt motor
Henry's 1989-1995: Twin fan Turboflo 1000watt motor
Henry's 1996-1998: Single fan 1100watt motor (type 1)
Henry's 1999-2003: Single fan 1100watt motor (Type2)
Henry's 2004-2014: Twin fan Twinflo 1200watt motor
Henry's Late 2014: Twin fan Hiflo 580watt motor
Henry's 2015-Present Twin fan Hiflo 620watt motor
Sorry I got a bit carried away there!

Will that 1999-2003 motor fit the 2904-2013 Henry's? And would you say that the 2004-2013 Henry's are like the second most powerful Henry's around? |

Yeah they would, but it would have to be the 2002/2003 type one which has the push button as the way the motor fits into the casing is the same as the new ones that has the hi/lo switch and Autosave...Of course you would have to blank off the place where the other switch would be as that type motor is singe speed only, I doubt it would work on both and really wouldn't want to try it, lol. |
