Hi guys picked up a dc07 animal today for a tenner, has a popped motor but it's not a major issue. Chap was only round the corner aswell so no expense on fuel. Came with the turbine tool and 3 small tools also. Generally in good cosmetic condition aswell. Will upload when I've done the strip Down and got it up and running again. If I post the serial number can anyone tell me how old it is?

I know it is the later model as it has the support under the cyclone handle to stop you dropping the cleaner off the cyclone. Has also had a genuine dyson hose fitted recently. I'm gonna soak that and then get as much water out of it with the vax 2000. Oh and by the way I used the 2000 last night and you wouldn't believe how it got the carpets up.

OMG nice!
In like 2011 I got the exact model, the same Animal with the reinforced handle and later model. It was from 2007. It came with all tools except the mini turbine head for £15. The clogged filter was the issue and it was perfect, literally! A Romanian scrapper take it away when. I left I it broken outside when I has underwhelmed by it's performance on carpets. Turns out I never put the seals back in the soleplate! Stupid me.
I was like 13 :/ WTH?! Regret it. Perfect vacuum though! Very durable and was so tough I would have felt confident dropping it down the two flights of stairs we have 14 and 13 steps.
