Just noticed that the closest Kirby store to me has closed. The owner was going to call me when the Avilar(sp) showed up. Has anyone seen one in the wild?

My friend, and former VCCC member Frank Morgan, works part time at a Kirby distributor in Birmingham, Alabama. They've been selling the Avalir for a few weeks now. Frank is bringing a new Avalir to the Vacuum Collector's Convention. We hold the Vacuum Collectors Convention at the Vacuum Cleaner Museum during the second weekend in June of every year. I'm not a fan of Kirby, although I have virtually all Kirby models in the Museum - but I'm waiting to see this new Renovator in person. Don't see how it can get close to a wall when doing bare floors.

Could this be the day?I am also waiting for the Kirby dealer I deal with from Raleigh to call me and say he is delivoring my Avalir.I am also anxious to see how the new Renovator works. If it can clean a real dirty section of my carpet-then I suppose it works!Saving the area just for that.In time-think the Avalirs will "come out of hiding"
