This is my first Miele. I have been wanting one for a couple of years now, but could never find one that is complete, for a reasonable price. I opted out on a Flamenco II 2 years ago for $30, as it was just the canister with no hose or tools. I was close to getting a White Pearl (I think that's what it was.) I offered $70 and he never got back to me. I guess he thought it was unreasonable, but of course that's not unreasonable for a 15+ year old vacuum. I was offered this one 2 weeks ago, and we agreed on $60. Though it is almost 21 years old (Made in August 1994) it still works great. In fact, the motor was replaced last year. It came with a pack of five new bags, along with an extra pre and post motor filter. The cord rewind is broken, so I have to use a clip while I use it so the cord doesn't go back in. Also, one of the hinges on the tool cover door is broken, so it will no longer pop up when you press the button. These are minor issues, no big deal. It came with the floor tool, crevice tool and upholstery tool. I'm not sure if there was a place for the dusting brush or not. I think the turbo nozzle was replaced at one point, it appears too new to be a Miele turbo nozzle from '94. All in all, I'm happy with it, especially because I'm half German, and have never owned a "Deutsches Staubsauger." (German Vacuum, or dust sucker (as it literally means.) Also pictured are the Bradford Imperial I got for $20 and the Electrolux B8 I got yesterday for $5. The E-Lux works great, I'm just waiting for the brushes to dry from being washed.

Im vergleich zu meinen Miele. Ich bin sehr froeh der endlich habe ich einen Miele!

I decided that I will eventually sell the B8. I really don't need it. I bought it for very little so it will be easy to resell.

I bought at a thrift shop last year for $30. Mine has the electric hose and a power nozzle, but it''s blue instead of red.
