I've never seen these with storage in the lid before. I have an Electrolux z2020 which is the same design as this, but the came with the butterfly tool which hooks onto the handle and a crevice tool which doesn't store on-board.
From what I remember, the first Electrolux cylinder with the tool flap was the Dolphin in this country.
Perhaps this is a later model that was modified specifically to be sold as a Volta? |

Now it has the powerhead. I took the vacuum apart and cleaned the inside. motor is in its the sealed box. Very nicely done sealed box which apparently reduces the noise and don't get air to leak past the filter. |

Here some pics of the top model U280 with remote control. One picture with the socket for the power nozzle. I found synthetic bags for a lot of old Electrolux cleaner. I run my Z325 from 1975 with this kind of bag. |
