just followed me home, Eureka model 1784B Roto-Matic cannister vacuum; along with 1 other gem, a Hoover Concept I / light blue / power drive.
Sadly i'm leaving vacuum paradise and headed back to the frozen big city for the next six months.
But i'll leave you with the pic from the ad that no one else answered for over 2 weeks.

An elderly woman's extra elderly --but still kickin' but no longer vacing--97 yr old mother's vac.
VG brush roll, all the bits, clear smoked cover in perfect shape, and all that late 70's rarely used green and white goodness..

I had such a good day for vacs that the working Fantom Thunder you see next to the Hoover Concept stayed at the Thrift Store..on half price day!

I have that exact machine too, In new condition. I also have a NIB vac tronic, these were great powerful and quiet machines that I feel everyone should have one in their collection of canisters. You might want to check out the cleaveland wood products brushroll for the eureka, it makes it so much easier to use and Ive found it performs a little better than the vg II.

Can you believe John,

I found two of those within 48 hrs. Identical model and condition, Concepts abound here
right now but are usually the same color.
If I were to collect one brand it would have to be Hoover.
Although they are louder than I prefer..but nothing compared to that Fantom Thunder, it
Shook the damn building when I fired it up for a test run.

I have a 1784B canister as well! It is a fabulous machine. Very shameful that Eureka no longer produces a bagged power nozzle canister. Perhaps they will revisit that someday as years ago, they made very good ones.

Great finds all around-- it's like belated Holiday gifts for you!
