The first vacuum I passed on simple because it was too big. I love almost everything about commerial vacuums like this expect I could never use it. It has a shake out bag and is apparently meant to vacuum carpet by the acre. I'm tempted to buy because it is so cheap and those rally stripes are outa this world.

I used one of those for years. My mom worked in a local grocery store that was all carpet. When it would break down they would bring in the owners 514 model Kirby...which out cleaned the Clark machine.

Another question about the Clark vacuum-Were disposable paper bags available for it?

Those are awesome machines. Its such a pitty that machines like these are no longer really made.

Tennant has one still but it some how lacks the look of these old models robustness. Like the advance carpetwin 16" and this clark with their large ducts that look like they could handle a full stapler rather than just the staples.
