What is everyones thoughts on the brand new constellation I've been wanting a brand new machine that has the appearance of a vintage. And I think I found it aside from the modern design of the powerhead. Anyone used it or tell me if its worth the almost 300 dollar price tag?

For a minute I thought they were making them again!

These were made a few years back, not made anymore. From what I hear they are nice, very close to the original. But the hoses are cheap and springy. Nice attachments though.

There is no add to cart button on the website, so although Hoover are still showing the Constellation, you can't buy one direct from them any more. There are many discontinued models on the website including the Z upright, but they are not available to buy.

I have three of the stainless steel models sold as the Maytag Satellite in the UK. I like it, but the hose is too short.

I have 2 white ones , a NIB stainless steel, and another stainless from a friend. That one needs to be serviced. I'll take it to the vac shop soon.
I like the suction, I think the attachments are HOOVER'S best in a long time. THey are not too loud. They weren't marketed well, a pity. Maytag seemed to have dropped the ball on this one.
But, I love the old ones... probably better.

I have a stainless steel one too, I had o shorten the hose a few feet as it had split, the customer bought a canister with a PN, the turbo tool was proving inadequate for their needs. Its a nice and very powerful machine, but like the original, it can blow dust all over if tying to vacuum a dirty bare floor, which can get annoying!

I would pop for one in a second

but, as stated there is no add to cart button.  I remember at one time I got far enough to check where to buy and it stated "Out of Stock"
