I brought home a decent haul after visiting my friend Ken Hedrick in Atlanta today. We have here: a Hoover Commercial U7073 (I know it needs a bag lol), a MinuteMan V14 PRO, a pink Hoover Convertible, and a dark red plastic based Hoover Convertible (it's still in the car lol). The Hoover Commercial has already been tested (at my roommate's church, it got a thorough "Hoovering") and it runs like it's new, headlight & all. The MinuteMan is an awesome vacuum too, it's actually my only vacuum with onboard attachements lol.

The pink Convertible. All original from what I can tell. It sounds amazing.

The Hoover 913, 918, and U7037 are my favorite of the Hoovers, I have 2 extremely nice 913s that I bought from my friend Owen. Yours is definitely U7037, the bumper gives it away.

I have only seen one of those Minuteman type vacuums in person once. It was in our store, but I don't remember working on it, so I don't really have much experience with them. I guess I didn't pay much attention because both me and my boss didn't think they wanted to keep the machine, so I figured I'd get all the time I wanted with it once it became mine, which did happen, oh well...

They are some of my favorite Hoovers too. I can't wait to replace the bag on this one lol. The MinuteMan I'm told is made by Lindhaus, it actually works really well. The amount of suction from the hose is crazy! I found an ad for the Hoover too

Austin, those are some great gifts there! Hey just wondering, have you tried out the Minuteman upright yet? I was thinking of buying one to use as a daily driver upright, it is sold by JohnnyVac here in Canada, rebranded as the JohnnyVac JV14. It is made by Technica in Italy, & this same powerhead was formerly used on the Vortech Force canisters by Ghibli. What's the suction like on the Minuteman, & how well does it groom the carpets....does the brushroll do well on medium & high pile carpets as well as low pile?

The MinuteMan has a floating head, so it works pretty well on most types of carpet. I would definitely recommend it

i thought that was a model 67. the metallic hoover letters give it away.. the machine is also slightly salmon color. VERY rare machine, much more rare than the 65.

Here's a few pics of my Model 68 that I found at an estate sale a couple of years ago along with a huge box of dust bags for $5.00.  I was gifted the box of attachments this past Memorial Day weekend by Fred Stachnik & Robert Seger.  The white attachments are original Hoovers, and the black ones are generics that I found locally.

That's a very nice find! I'm looking for a delux set of convertible Attachements for the model 67, 66, 36 that I have. I think I have a lead on some though.
