You have to have a house that will stay pretty clean. Don't get rid of your primary vacuum because you are still going to need it. When it comes to pet hair they do okay but it's not going to do that great of a job. my best friend had one and she had two labs and a husky and she ran it every day and still used her upright and regardless the Roomba could not keep up.
If you live in a spotless house with out any pets or at least one cat or dog then you could be okay. |

The entertainment factor with cats is maybe the biggest positive that I can find with them. If you think about it you really are handicapped. They can't clean the furniture, or walls, or stairs, it's strictly floors. Video's of cats riding around on them really is the only fun thing about them. That and conversation pieces when people visit. |
