It does seem KY collectors are scarce. I live about 50 miles east of Bowling Green. |

For the longest time I thought I was the only collector in Kentucky! Definitely good to see you guys on here! I'm about 25 miles from Mt. Sterling KY myself.
I too look forward to seeing pics of that xxx myself looks like an awesome machine from the listing! The model 30 is my favorite model, in fact I just moved one of mine out of the way in the living room where the kids were dragging it all over the house tonight! Here's a photo of it, my 20 month old thinks this is his vacuum! |

That is a beautiful XXX. The design is timeless and was such an effective cleaner. The airflow of a XXX is strong enough that it is a workout to push the rug nozzle on some of my rugs with my newer XXXs. |

You are absolutely right, to me they are a piece of art that is functional! I do have a newer "daily driver" (an Olympia One), but from time to time I just get the urge to hear that old motor purr and I take it through a complete tour of our 3000+ sq foot home. It impresses me every single time I use it. The powerful whoosh as the air rushes through the nozzle, how it will pull my throw rugs off the floor, and how relaxing it is to hear it humming happily to itself!!!
