Since it is going to be much warmer in the next couple of days, I decided to make time to re-paint some of my poor old vintage machines, being, my Hoover Constellation 858, Lewyt 121 and Kenmore Magicord. I am looking for paints that would somewhat look like the original paints on these machines. For the constellation, a beige for the bottom, and orange-peach color for the top. For the Lewyt, I'd like to paint it a light gray only on the bottom and wheels. I am not going to touch the unpainted top. For the Kenmore Magicord, I would like to try to find a light blue. Does anybody know where I can find paint that wouldn't easily chip off? I already know by experience that house paint doesn't work. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Also, I am having a hard time deciding on what type of brushroll to replace my Rainbow D4 power nozzle with (The older version of the D4 nozzle). I am not impressed with the performance of the original brushroll installed (which is still in good shape). Again, thanks for the help!

Not sure if Krylon Fusion will do? Be VERY careful if you're going to strip off the old paint; it might have lead, which can be hazardous |
