It's been a looonnnggg time since I used a Fantom XT. If I remember correctly they work OK but loose suction quickly as they clog with dust and dirt. Just make sure to keep it cleaned out!

I think the Cyclone XT was Fantom's best upright. It had two motors and a pre-motor filter. It still wasn't a Dyson, but it wasn't bad. My uncle bought one new and still has it. It doesn't get used that much, but I used it recently, and it works fine. I thought the other Fantoms were terrible because the cyclonic system didn't really work, and dirt clogged the HEPA exhaust filter.
