Hotpoint-Ariston in Italy have at last shown off their new mains power "Compact" stick vacuum (mains power) range. There seems to be a few variations: Compact "Easy", Compact "Extreme", Compact "Eco Clean," Compact "Deep Clean," and others.

Link below is in Italian but translate to English if using Chrome server.

Seriously, though, Glad to see somebody is shying away from the trend of cordless stck-vacs, maybe there is hope for the stick-vac!

I'm glad to see they're making vacuums in other countries now instead of just majour appliances here in the states.

We had one of those Electrik Brooms in our house when I was a kid. I remember my mom used to keep it in the pantry and used it to vacuum the kitchen and hallways . It worked really good and we had to empty the dirt cup often.
