I noticed the Sebo Evolution is back on the German website.
Very nice!

Its been back on there for a couple of weeks but they haven't added the brochure or the user manual, or indeed a full explanation - just the flyer. It has already arrived in the UK - a seller in the UK has bought one.

I don't like the automatic height adjustment on the X series so its good to see a Manuel height upright available.I've just bought a Dyson but I might be tempted by the Sebo early next year. Pity it hasn't got a brushroll on/off that would have been a great addition.

Sebo fan does it have a different exhaust filter to the X Series?

There's an on off switch on the floor head? Maybe that's for the brush? Can't see it being the main power switch.... Says they have it in stock too!

I dunno I think it only has one motor. But I may be wrong.

The Evolution only has one motor, I remember reading the tech spec on the German website before it was temporary removed. The orange switch on the side is the power switch. The spec says you can adjust the height using the wand too!

Yes that's a good feature.I'm sure I will get one at some point. Did you notice the exhaust filter looks different? I read you can get an exhaust Hepa filter is that correct? I thought the pre motor filter was the S class/HEPA filter?

The side pedal is the operation pedal to start the motor. There's a pedal around the back to release the handle.

Apparently its a single motor driven vacuum - not double/twin.

Thank you Sebo_fan for posting though pictures of the Evolution. Looks like there is some kind of plate behind the Orange foot release pedal! Might be something to do with the overload-secure foot pedal.

Marcusprit I know the pre motor filter is same as the X series which looking at the pictures released so far must be S class. Think I've read you can upgrade the post motor filter to HEPA. I've not seen the post motor filter as such. The picture on the website looks like the post motor filter sits under the bag compartment! Hopefully more info will be released soon.

I'm wanting a X series but do want to check out the Eco models, the Evolution and the new Airbelt E series too.

No bother. Busily having a convo with Powercare on FB at present. They have a pre-production vacuum to test, not for sale.

As for the E model, I'm prepared to wait and see. I may buy one but ONLY if it has an auto cord rewind. I've had enough of the K series in my lifetime with pull-pull cord rewinds which I don't particularly like.

I like you can fit a post motor HEPA that's a good move!
The E series looks awesome. I found the D series a bit big n bulky and not keen on the K series.I think the E series will do very well! :-)

Isn't the button next to the power knob a rewind button on the E series?

The filter at the front is a paper type filter, like a HEPA filter that sits in a cartridge holder.

Oo cool I've just had a nose at the conversation! Pre production model I thought it was a production model from the pictures. Suppose SEBO want to get feedback before full production starts. I'd be tempted to get one of these over an X series. Although would it be ok on hardfloors!?

I like the K series but that pull pull cord puts me off. Hopefully the E will have an auto cord rewind! Have you tried any of the Eco models yet?

Not sure if it has hard floor brush roll on/off. We will all have to wait and see.

I like that I think its an improvement on the X series exhaust filter.

Not sure marcusprit I would think it is looks like it. There no details on this new model as yet. Can't wait to see more. The E series does look awesome, I like the D series but I can see what you mean big and bulky. The E series should do well agree with you there. I think it will sit I between the K and D. I thought it would replace the K but SEBO wouldn't have release Eco versions of the K series if it was going to be replaced surely!?

Well, anything to make money. Look at Hotpoint. They've released high power vacs just at the cusp of the EU law coming in and have now replaced their models with new 700/1000 watt vacs.

We certainly will. Nice to know about cartridge filter at the front. It certainly looks functional, ease of use and maintenance true SEBO!

I think it will replace the K series. If there's a choice between the K series and the E series I don't think many will prefer the K series from what I can see :-)

You could be right there. I bet the K series will be phased out. True most would probably go for the E over the K series.

I have found that SEBO aren't the kind of brand to replace a model completely. Only 2 years ago when the D series took over in other countries, some EU countries still had the C series on sale. It comes down to demand and what sells per branch.

Post# 302313 , Reply# 25   10/18/2014 at 15:52 (3,474 days old) by marcusprit ()

Definitely! But I have a feeling the E series will become their biggest selling cylinder.

Well I think that's natural - at the moment the K series seems to be very popular in EU countries. SEBO may well keep it on its books until such times that the E series gains more interest.
