I've decided to use the Classic III toe touch axle on my '69 Dual Sanitronic 80. It sure did raise the front of the machine. However, I still need to verify that with the double narrows.

This idea came to me because all the American-Lincoln Super-Sweep machines, as well as the COMVAC 1300, used that kind of axle that accepts wide wheels.

Or, just dunk the whole D80 in a can of green paint, but be careful of that precious 500505 brush roll.

No way, as you can see here, I'm not taking those wheels off the axle as this is a temporary fix until I obtain another 131673 axle assembly from Evan (kirbykid) tomorrow afternoon.

When I do, I will still need two more narrow green wheels (132067) to go with the ones off of the older axle.
