EVERY model is eligible for rebuild . You can easily search through this web page at top right hand corner right under the selection box ;) called Forum archives dirt finder search ;) For any subject that has been posted several times on this site . If you are the ORIGINAL owner the price isn't that expensive, but if you bought it off ebay and are NOT the ORIGINAL owner and want it rebuilt the question becomes "How much Gold have you?" it gets expensive. And Yes you do have to pay shipping.
I have a factory rebuilt 513 (that someone gave me in payment for something) that is all trimmed out in tan with a hideous gold Classic or Classic Omega bag on it. I have since put on a more appropriate black open top bag from Kirby since 1953 bags didn't have pockets and replaced the tan cord with a gray one. |
