Ok, attached are photos of how I removed it. And attached are the directions from Kirby. I do not know how the directions from Kirby have worked for others, but I am doubtful using the directions they gave worked very well as I could not get the lens to budge using the directions from Kirby. You will see in the photos why.... = as you got to get the lens past the metal clip as you pound on it and the clip is set in a groove on the lens...
** What I will say tho, it is important to try doing this while the belt lifter is attached to the floor nozzle though if you try the kirby directions and pound on the plastic lens. Why you ask? = if not I could see the plastic tabs on the belt lifter break... | ||
