I found this Kirby classic III that I found on the side of the road. It needs a safety switch but otherwise it's in good shape. The bag has this weird brown substance stuck to the bag. Can I wash it or do I have to do some other bag trick that I'm not aware of?

If you remove the outer bag from the emptor, it can be washed on gentle cycle in your washer. Be sure to use a gentle detergent such as Woolite in your washer.

If you forget to take the emptor off it does wonders to the inside of the washing machine.

Good luck on the safety switch, they're now about $60 for the Classic III
