Ok...now that I have everyone's attention.....

If someone has an old, non-usable Kirby 505 bag that they would like to send me, I'll make a pattern from it and attempt sew a new one. Boning can be sewed into the top portion hem to create the form which slides into the bag clamp.

I would also need some of the other Kirby experts, as well, to provide their input regarding the best type of material I should use. I am sure there is some criteria regarding porosity, texture, and fiber content of the material to be used. The only part that I am not able to do because of the lack of equipment is the silk screening or logo designing. However, with computerized sewing machine and various other technology these logos can be duplicated with ease. Or, high-quality iron-on decals could also be created and then applied.

Making other Kirby model bags would involve much of the same input however, the material would be much heavier and the stitching would involve employing a feld seam particularly on the back side.
