I had an amazingly good weekend at the estate sales here in KC. Kenny Loveland just loves to come to KC to go to estate sales, he always finds cool things. I found a Singer Golden Power Master and a Singer canister to match, a Hoover Deluxe Handivac with a kickstand, a GE Floor Washer/Dryer and some vintage magazines/catalogs. The Kirby Classic 3 was given to me for free, the estate sale company owner knows I like vacuums and said the Kirby would just go in the trash if I didn't take it, so I did. It has some really nice owner's manual and a brochure for the Classic explaining the bag with the saniscraper and the kgf-40 treatment. So not a bad haul for one weekend.

GE Floor Washer

Thats a rare bird!..I have one I got from Tania, it works off the blower, and really picks up water well.

My lonely Golden power-master sits in the attic, begging for a rebuild!

Nice finds! Is the floor washer new-in-box, or simply in-box?

The GE Floor Washer/Dryer was just in the box. I'm not sure its been used, but it didn't have any packing material in the box so I can only assume it might have been used. It appears to be complete minus the instruction manual.

Hi Kc_Kirby are any of these catalogs service merchandise or turnstyle from 1973-74? Either way I'd love given  they're public domain I'd love to see the vacuum pages.
Thank you very much.

Thanks! Everyone knows I love a good WARDS catalog, any of those in your pile? Not that you have to post them, just wondering if you too can enjoy a Wards catalog now! tongue-out

That GE is worth its weight in gold. Extremely rare. People would mortgage their homes to buy it on eBay.

Yes, I did get two Ward's catalog. I think there might have been two more, for different seasons. There were three that looked like they had the same cover so I just took one. Now I wonder if they were for different seasons but had the same looking cover. Oh well, too late now.

Cool! What years are the catalogs? I wish I could find old catalogs laying around in Florida! laughing
