Was it the model that had been rebuilt in the late 1960's by the Kirby factory with all the mismatched parts? I saw that one on eBay as well, but I knew it would take a lot to restore it to original condition. Congrats on getting it. Now the real search begins for the original black wheels, bag, trim, etc.

Thanks cb123

Yes it is, I think I have the wheels and the bag its going to be fun finding everything elce. I guess the up side is that it has a newer field and armature, my 1959 Kirby has the original field and it's leaking I'm lucky I just found a brand new field for it so once I put in the new field and armature I don't have to worry about the tingling sensation when I touch the metal bits when I use it.
