Well, it looks like the Kenmore straight hose 2405 I bought new in the wrapper from Appliance Factory Parts in Colorado really was the last of the Mohicans. They nicked me an arm and a leg for it. It came in a nice fresh Sears pacakge, so I checked Sears Parts Direct and it was shown being still available and $50 cheaper than what Appliance Factory Parts nicked me.

As a test I ordered one back in August. I even called ahead to see if the part really was available and was assured it was. Nope. No luck. That part has shown as "pending" since I ordered it while everything else in that order was delivered. I called today to see what's up and was told the hose is NLA. So I take my refund and see what my alternatives are. Bummer!

My quest for Kenmore straight hoses continues.
