I'm pinching myself. I have been looking high and low for all three items, but especially the hose. The Filter Fairy is being very kind to me.

Wow, a very good deal for that stuff, it always seems odd that a whole canister vac is often easy and cheap to find but correct attachments can be far more difficult . . .

Very funny thing I was debating to buy that set.

It had a lot of watchers. When I see something like that at that kind of price I don't bother to watch it. I buy it. I was so excited I even confused my fairies afterwards. Should have said the Hose Fairy is being kind to me.

Two months ago, I saw the same hose but a brand new in the original package.

New? Where? No, seriously.

The only new ones I see are dark gray and availability is iffy. I have one on order from Sears, part number 2405. It is shown as a current part but the one I ordered a month ago isn't even on back order. That part just says "Pending". I bought one from a place in Colorado for a small fortune, brand new, also a 2405 in the Sears packaging but it may have been the last one.

One of my old Kenmore canisters is switched on and off at the hose end. It's a three position switch off/on/floor (maybe an industry first but I don't know for sure). I only have one hose for it and several years ago before I started collecting I replaced the original hose with cuffs molded on with a new one but it's in the current dark gray material like a 2405 so it's not original looking. At least it's a ten footer. 2405 is a whimpy 6 feet. I would like to find at least one more original straight hose with the off/on/floor switch on the end. Alternatively if I can obtain at least the nozzle end with the switch I can pop the nozzle out of the hose I just bought and replace it with the nozzle end with the switch.

Seriously yes, it was on ebay. It was there for 1 or 2 day.
The price was 55$.

Bebring, you didn't see this or something just like it did you?

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Kenmore-Canister...

I have two of these, brand new. Not quite the same as an original Kenmore hose. They work ok but the pigtails are a real nuisance. At least the two I bought are ten footers. I just saw the owner of my favorite vacuum shop put other ends on some of these hoses so I may risk one and see if I can finagle original Kenmore hose ends onto the cuffs. The vacuum shop owner says the ends the hoses come with come right out of the cuffs with a screwdriver (my scrotum tightens thinking about all the ways this can go wrong) and he and a couple of the exact same hoses there with other ends on them. Makes me pucker to risk ruining a hose though. Might buy one with no ends like this one, remove the pig tails and experiment.

I saw it, It was a hose for a Kenmore magicord canister.
The hose was white like the original.
It had two prong.
I think the length was 6 foot
