I went to goodwill the other day and saw what i thought was just an early 90's dirt devil upright, too my surprise when i got it home i noticed it had a three prong cord and on the base it says its a heavy duty commerical model! it works well but i need to clean the commutator with a commutator stone. It has a sticker on it that says itss from august 30 of 1991. It cleans very well and came with all of its attachments. Has anyone ever seen one of these or knows any info about them? It also came with all of its attachments. I didnt know weather to post this under vintage or ceonteporary so i posted it under both.

That's very cool.

I have seen dirt devil labeled outer bags for the metal royal uprights. This is a very cool find. I have to wonder if it was made just for a wholesale club or company. Coati or SAMs club perhaps. Would be very interesting to find out.

I sold them in my vacuum shop when they were new. There was also a white model with red lettering made for Wal-Mart's anniversary. The Commercial model was lacking the 'edge clean' switch that the household models had.
