Another odd find at the vac shop. Any thoughts?

The price was $2495 back in 1998? Wow....I wonder how much it costs today. That is more than a Rainbow or FQ.

But look at the poor thing now, no cord and languishing away. Its hard to believe someone paid that much for it at one point in time.

Holy crevice tool, $2,495 in 1998!? It's definitely in a league of its own,a price league of its own! tongue-out

Probably works just as well as a real Tri-Star but looks much uglier! I'd guess the same for the similar Miracle Mate vac.

I used to own one, but I don't remember what happened to it. One improvement over a Tristar is the automatic cord winder. But it's a drawback too, because the cord is rather short.

I have had an Airstorm for several years. It has a tol Sebo power nozzle. Stormy inner bags and can have a hepa fitted to the exhaust. Made by Schoettler Enterprises.

Here is mine.....

Those, as Bud says are made by Schoettler Enterprises, which also makes Patriot, another Tristar style design. I read that they used to, or perhaps still do, make models out of resin

just a comment... suggested retail and what they actually sold for are horses of very different colors...

Their high pressure in-home sales practices have made a lot of people unhappy with them. The prices people have actually paid for them are all over the place. Lots of buyers regret.
