I was scanning Ebay this evening and this Hoover Constellation caught my eye. I've never owned one myself. But I noticed there are two wires that appear to supply electricity to a couple of contacts at the hose inlet. Is that for an electrified hose? I always thought the Constellation was straight suction only. If not for a PN, then what are my eyes seeing? Thanks!

I lucked out getting mine in great condition w original hose. A little tweak under the hose coupler and she works exactly as designed.
After much searching and asking around I got the original Garland Green floor tool, too. From Tom Anderson (or was it you Fred?) |
